Duties & Responsibilities
- It is the duty of the county clerk to permanently maintain all documents that by law should be recorded. (NMSA §14-8-2)
- Issuing and recording marriage licenses
- Maintaining Probate Court records
- Historical document preservation
- Facilitating all elections to ensure they are efficient, convenient, and maintain the highest level of integrity concerning the election process.
We strive to provide the public with our best service while keeping costs as low as possible.
Our office is easily accessible with a variety of workstations to accommodate multiple persons who are searching records.
