Components

The Detention Center currently consists of 3 components.

Misdemeanor Compliance

Misdemeanor Compliance which consists of Court Compliance officers who oversee individuals who have been sentenced to probation on misdemeanor offenses or DWI offenses. In 2009, the average number of clients on Misdemeanor Compliance on any given month was 554. In 2009, the average number of clients on DWI Compliance on any given month was 432.

Electronic Monitoring (INTV)

INTV consists of Court Compliance officers who oversee individuals who have been sentenced to electronic monitoring. This is also known as the bracelet program.

Community Service

Community Service consists of Court Compliance officers who oversee individuals who have been sentenced to community service by Municipal, Magistrate or District Court. In 2009, the average number of clients performing community service on any given month was 117. The average number of hours collected per month was 2,114.

Mission

The mission of the Court Services & Offender Supervision division is to provide exemplary service to the courts, attorneys, clients and the public; while providing ethical, conscientious supervision for our clients in an effort to empower them to reach a successful conclusion to probation.
